We are the Kermes family, and our journey began with a vision of creating a facility where we could observe our family ride, learn, and thrive in the horse culture. Over the years, we have expanded this vision to meet a crucial need within the horse community by providing a safe and welcoming environment for horse boarding and leasing. We strive to ensure that both you and your horse(s) feel right at home, embracing a strong 'barn family' mentality. You are not just another stall to fill or a spot in the pasture; we take the time to get to know you and your horse(s) individually, enabling us to offer the best care tailored to your specific needs. Our love for what we do is evident in our work, and we invite you to visit us and become a part of our 'barn family' today!
We are not all about work, work, work. We love to play too, encouraging our boarders and leasing clients to come out and experience what the horse community has to offer off the farm! We actively support our local horse club through donations, time, and resources, fostering growth in our community while also promoting horse boarding and horse leasing opportunities.
Having fun is our #1 priority! Whether it’s on a relaxing trail ride or during one of the many events we participate in, we embrace and maintain a light and fun enviorment that makes horse boarding and horse leasing enjoyable for everyone.

Josh is an absolute Swiss Army Knife when it comes to the farm and the horse community! He can fix it all, build it all, calm the most nervous horses (and their riders), and offer words of wisdom that will resonate with anyone weather they need kind encouragement or just a watchful eye. He works from before the sun rises to well after the sun sets to ensure our horses are healthy, happy, and the facility is up to the highest of standards!
The Kindest Soul you will ever meet!
Jordan is the heart and soul behind our amazing lesson and leasing programs. Her unwavering level of patience and understanding have absolutely no limit! She organizes all of our lessons, trail rides, and gatherings. She personally tends to each and every one of our leasing clients. She sits down with everyone and gets to know them on a personal level to tailor an experience for them to maximize their growth. Rockstar horse mom is in the forefront of her resume followed by loudest cheerleader, comfort provider, and official fun ambassador for Oak Acres!!
